Therewill be the largest wind power plant of the country on the border of Pavlodar and Akmolaoblasts in 2015. The project is being developed by the staffs of socio-entrepreneurial corporation “Pavlodar” – the correspondent of “RE” reports. The presentation of the project was held at the International Forum “Innovations are the energy of the future!” The plant capacity will make 50 MW and itwillprobably be the largest in the country.Pavlodar partners are representatives of China.They agreed to the cooperation back in September. At the constituent meeting of the Kazakh-China Business Council, they signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the “SEC” Pavlodar”and theState Development Bank of China.

According to the first deputy chairman of JSC “NC “SEC Pavlodar” ErlanDuzelbaev, it is expected that the preliminary cost will account 15 billion tenge and the Chinese partners will built the facility, the equipment supplier will be a Chinese company Goldwind.

As the first deputy akim of Pavlodar oblast DuisenbaiTurganov said, until the end of the year the feasibility study will be developed. It is necessary to conduct the measurements of wind potential. Pavlodar side already purchased the equipment for this.

The plant itself is going to be installed in 204 kilometers from Pavlodar.The average annual wind speed of this countryside makes 8.39 meters per secondand it is a good indicator.In addition, there is a possibility of connecting to power lines of JSC “KEGOC” which, of course, reduce the cost at the construction phase.In parallel, some objects at the exhibition will be supplied with energy. According to the executive secretary of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan BeibutAtamkulov, now the government is preparing a decree on tariff for energy from renewable sources.So in 2015, when, they planto start the wind power plant, all the legal nuances will be worked out.
