Conditions of participation in the Contest:

The Contest theme: any topic related to the global and Kazakhstani science Materials on the topics which are relevant to the content of the Contest are accepted to participate.

Contestants: Participating in the Contest is open to all interested people, citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan over 18 years.

To participate in the Contest, you must open a blog page on the NSP www.nauka.kz

To create your own blog, you need to register as a user of the NSP www.nauka.kz, and then go to the “Blogs” and click on “Add a Blog” at the top of the list of blogs, then place the necessary material.

The materials for the Contest should be submitted in electronic form.

Number of publications of an author or a creative team is not limited.

The working languages of the Contest – are Kazakh, Russian and English.

The best works entered to the Contest will be published on the main page of the NSP www.nauka.kz

Winners will receive prizes.

The following topics are not allowed to participate in the contes: advertising articles and images, erotic or unethical contents inducing to commit illegal actions, calling for violence, hostility that contain abusive or discriminatory images containing expressions, images, discrediting the honor, dignity or business reputation containing trademarks or service marks of third parties without your rights to use them, as well as photographs of inadequate quality (with stamped dates, etc.).

By participating in the Contest, the participant agrees to public publish of their work, photos or video and her/his reproduction, distribution, public showing on air or on cable, processing, make publicly available for the duration of copyright in the entire world, as well as to the processing, the following personal date: surname, first name, day, month, year and place of birth, address and registration of actual residence, work place, contact information (phone number, email address).

The participant consents to the processing of personal date, which includes consent to the collection, classification, accumulation, storage (updating, changing), use, distribution, depersonalization, blocking and destruction, as well as the transfer of personal date to third parties. Cross-border transfer of personal date is not carried out.

The purpose of the processing of personal date is summing-up of the Contest, the settlement with the participants of “The Best Scientific Blog” Contest and accordance the right to carry out photography and video from the participants for the publication of the results of the Contest, if you win the grand prize.

Validity period of the consent to the processing of personal date of the participants is not limited by time or area of action.

This consent to the processing of personal data may be revoked in cases and in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A participant of the Contest stands the winner whose material best corresponds to the criteria of the job rating:

• uniqueness of the author’s text;
• conformity of theme of publication with the subject of the Contest;
• completeness of the disclosure of the problem;
• accessibility perception of the material;
• Originality of the submission;
• Presence in the analyst’s material on the subject;

The jury of the organizer selects the winner. Also the organizer determines the participants who will get consolation prizes (2nd and 3rd place).

The organizer reserves the right to exclude from the Contest the participants, suspected of unfair preparation materials.

About prize the winner, as well as the participants who took 2nd and 3rd place will be notified with a personal letter by e-mail. The results will be summed on the 10th of December, 2013.

The results of the Contest and information about the winner will be published on the websites of www.nauka.kz, www.inti.kz.

The award is given to the winner himself and the participants who took 2nd and 3rd place during a month from determining the winner.

About the place of issuance of awards, the winner, as well as the participants, who took 2nd and 3rd place, will be informed additionally.

The award can not be exchanged and replaced, including money equivalent.

The administration of the NSP www.nauka.kz may not share the author’s opinion blog. It is possible to use the materials of the Contest only with the letter of consentof the administration of the NSP www.nauka.kz.

Rights and responsibilities of the Participants:

All participants undertake for complying with the terms of these rules.

By sending answers or photo in a comment on the page, the participant guarantees the authorship and the availability of the exclusive right to the material. In the event of any claims of third parties in respect of the said material, the participant undertakes for settling them on their own and their own expense, at this time the material is removed from participation in the Contest.

Rights, Responsibilities of the Organizer:

The Organizer undertakes for carrying out the Contest and determining the winner among the participant, selected on the basis of evaluation of work in accordance with the stated criteria for selection:

• uniqueness of the author’s text;
• conformity of the theme of publication with the subject of the Contest;
• completeness of the disclosure of the problem;
• accessibility perception of the material;
• Originality of the submission
• Presence in the analyst’s material on the subject;

The organizer does not bear responsibility for non-performance or improper performance of its obligations that resulted from failures in the telecommunications and energy networks, malware activities and unscrupulous actions of third parties aimed to unauthorized access and /or removal of system software and /or hardware system.

The organizer has the right to refuse to grant awards to the Participant if the Participant has provided false information about yourself or otherwise violated the rules of the contest.

Concluding provisions:
Participation in the contest implies getting acquainted and full consent of the participants with these terms and conditions of the Contest, hosted on the site www.nauka.kz.
