On May 21 from 09.30 to 17.00 at the premises of Kazakh Humanities and Law University there will be held the III World economic youth forum «Economic integration and «the role of youth in green technologies». On the same day, from 12.00 to 16.00 there will be held a number of sessions devoted to the issues of holding the International specialized exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana.
During the discussions the followings issues will be discussed: the contribution of EXPO exhibition into industrial-innovative development of the country and regions and development of the economy of the country, new opportunities for business and investments that will appear before and after the holding of exhibition, as well as development of the infrastructure of the regions.
Among the invited guests of the EXPO-2017 session are world leaders and politicians, leading experts and scientists of the energy sector. The followings speakers will deliver their speeches: Ivan Prostakov,Advisor to the Secretary General of the International Exhibition Bureau (BIE) on communications issues; Anca Corina Anghel, Counselor to the Secretary General of BIE; George Fitzgerald Smoot III, Nobel Prize Winner in Physics, 2006; Eduardo LópezBusquets, Director General of the EXPO – 2008 Commissioner office, Zaragoza; Serge Martin, Special Advisor to the United Nations Foundation «Sustainable energy for all» initiative;AES and EPTISA Engineering companies representatives. Kazakhstan will be represented by RapilZhoshybayev,the Commissioner of the International specialized exhibitionEXPO-2017, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan; TalgatErmegiyaev, Chairman of the Board «Astana EXPO-2017» National Company» JSC;AigulSolovyova, Majilis Deputy of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan; SaltanatRakhimbekova, Chairman of the Board of the Coalition «For green» economy and development of G-Global» and others.
According to Talgat Ermegiyaev, Chairman of the Board «AstanaEXPO-2017» National Company» JSC, the level of discussion platform that Astana economic forum provides is very high. «I am confident that following the results of these sessions we will hear from experts and business representatives and will be able to take into account all of these things while preparing for International specialized exhibition EXPO-2017in Astana».
In addition, within the framework of VII Astana economic forum there will be signed a memorandum between the Association «Astana economic club of scientists», Coalition «For green» economy and development G-global» and National company «Astana EXPO-2017». The parties agreed to join their efforts in preparing for the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO - 2017in Astana.
