Реферат: Artificial esophageal prostheses based on segmented polyurethane have been developed. The physical-chemical properties and release of drugs from polyurethane implants were studied. The medical-biological tests of polyurethane implants in vivo experiments at laboratory animals were carried out. The data for application of polymeric implants in esophagus surgery was presented.
The recommendation of human population monitoring program to address environmental health issues in Kazakhstan
Реферат: Biomarkers play a central role in monitoring exposed populations for predicting their risk for the development of health consequences. Based on well-conducted studies, exposure-specific and biological mechanism-based risk assessments can be made with more confidence. The assessment can then be used to develop more realistic prevention and intervention protocols against disease. Here we summarized recent findings in the population studies by using different biomarkers and on this base we suggested recommendations of a human population monitoring program to address environmental health concerns in Kazakhstan.
